The mounts bear the French Minerva 1st standard hallmark as well as the hallmark of the Parisian silversmith Gaston Bardies, identifiable by the GB hallmark and the heraldic fleur-de-lis. This renowned silversmith worked at 13 rue des Fontaines in Paris between 1897 and 1914.
