Beautiful KPM plate from the Royal Berlin Porcelain Factory, in German:( konigliche porzellan-manufaktur Berlin) KPM.
Polychrome porcelain plate with central naturalistic decoration, depicting an animated river bank.
Circa 1850 in excellent condition, which is rare given its age.
A fine collector's item.
The Royal Berlin Manufactory was founded in 1763 by Frédéric Legrand.
A cobalt-blue sceptre, first engraved, is the universally renowned trademark.
The sceptre was painted from 1837, and later the mark was transformed into a sceptre flanked by a royal circle with the initials KPM.
