Beautiful painting of Albert, Prince of Belgium, Duke of Saxony, Prince of Saxe-Coburg and Gota, heir to the crown and third King of the Belgians.

Consecrated on December 23, 1909.

Born in Brussels on April 8, 1875, died in a mountaineering accident on February 17, 1934.

During the ordeals of the Great War, Albert I gave the monarchy its letters of nobility and put Belgium at the forefront of European diplomacy.

His courage and commitment to peace rightly earned him the nickname "King Knight".

Oil on canvas in a beautiful solid wood frame, richly carved and probably lacquered.
