Beautiful large Dutch earthenware vase, beautifully hand painted and signed by the artist.
Depicts the town of MEDNBLIK from the 1900s.
Very beautiful lively scene of a village with church, a port or quay with characters coming out of barrels from merchants' sailboats.
We can also see a few ladies walking on the quay, perhaps to make some purchases or simply to meet and have a bit of a chat as it was customary to do at that time.
There are two decorations on this vase, the second shows merchants working at the foot of a charming church.
Vase painted very realistically with the meticulousness of the decor.
Hand painted and signed by the artist, stamp under the base.
Remarks: Remarkably painted vase with two life scenes signed by the artist which makes this vase attractive and very decorative.
Dutch vase from the 1930s, increasingly rare.
