Luca Madrassi is a French sculptor of Italian origin trained in Rome then at the Paris School of Fine Arts where he followed the courses of Pierre Jules Cavelier 1814/1894.
They worked with Albert Carrier Belleuse 1824/1887.
From 1879, Madrassi, through his allegorical subjects and his very imaginative compositional talent, acquired notoriety.
He obtained honorable mentions several times and in 1896 became a member of the National Society of Fine Arts and obtained French nationality.
