A lovely antique vase in vienna porcelain with double-sided polychrome decoration of a large central medallion depicting a mythological scene of Cupid on the other side, a large central medallion with floral decoration encircled by a fine gold frieze.
Enhanced by two Rocaille-style handles, the slightly flared cubic neck features stylized motifs in reserved cartouches.
The vase is raised on its four feet.
Marked with a beehive on the reverse by the Imperial Manufactory of Vienna, a gilded fleuron with initials probably those of the porcelain painter who created the decorations, unfortunately the initials are barely legible.
In good condition, the gilding is very slightly missing from the frieze that encircles the medallion.
No cracks or chips.
